Meme of The Day: The First Follower & Topless Dancing Guy Show How To Create A Movement

by & filed under All, Inspiration, My Work.

A lone shirtless dancing guy at the Sasquatch music festival in 2009. The narrator shows us in under three minutes how a movement is started, taking a lone dancer into a riot of dancers.

Rules for starting a movement:

1. If you are a version of the shirtless dancing guy, alone, nuture the first followers – Make everything about the movement itself.
2. Be public.
3. Be easy to follow.
4. Leadership is over glorified.
5. It’s the first followers that transform the leader.
6. Courageously follow and show others how to follow.

If this video isn’t a video to show in business classes, then I don’t how an easier way to explain leadership and movements.
